Item Details
Title
USBWC Report of Meeting, January 4, 1945
Topics
This meeting was to give the British visitors a chance to review the question of BW and ask questions after their inspection of Camp Detrick.
Date
1945
Conclusions
The British believe the work done in the US and in GB on crop destroying agents is distinct and could be ready in the near future. There is interest in non-transmissible agents as they are easier to control. The most work has been done on anthrax. It was discussed that this research will still be valuable post war in the fields of agriculture and public health. Other agents under development by the US are discussed; "US", "UL", "OC", "SI", "HI", "LA", and "L."
