Item Details
Title
Probable Biological Agents Which May Be Employed by the Enemy
Topics
This summarizes some of the scientific research on possible biological agents conducted by the War Research Service.
Date
1944
Conclusions
Anthrax and botulinum toxin are both suitable for use as a biological weapon. Other agents are able to infect at a smaller quantity but are more difficult to produce in large quantities and are less stable. It is smart to assume that the Germans are far ahead of us in their progress with these agents.
